Here's a word to the wise about replacing the fuel filter on any 4wd Frontier that may have spent any time in winter salt: along with purchasing the filter itself I also recommend replacing the clamp that holds the filter to the filter bracket since it will likely be rusted and will twist before breaking. It's a clamp that is less than $10 at the dealer and is a must. Also to note it will not hurt to switch the bolts and nuts surrounding the fuel filter job to stainless as it will make replacement in the future so much easier.

There's my $.02 of the day regarding this new Frontier of mine.

Good call, Rev. This advice also extends to any and all trucks with frame mounted fuel filters ;)

Totally agree replace all parts , never skimp on parts when fuel is involved. All new clamps bolts etc. Fuel leaks can burn a good truck up in no time. ALWAYS on older cars and trucks replace all rubber fuel lines as often or more often than belts, cheap easy and good insurance. FIRES suck
