Hello all.

I just purchased a 2007 G35x with 29k miles on it. Completely stock. Im interested in what I can do to the motor, exhaust, etc... but keep it completely stock looking...I don't want to put new wheels or scoops or spoilers or any other crap like that on it, I just would like to make it a little less embarassing when my coworker smokes me in his 08 335i.

Thanks all for your input.

intake/exhaust/HFC

those are the most common for the 2007+

realize that with a 335i he can get a lot more power for much cheaper due to the turbo. A little tuning on those cars goes a long way.

HFC would be your first purchase. There has been a large amount of HP gains with the HFC's (High Flow Cat). Secondly, since you are in the exhaust area, go for the Full Stillen exhaust. Or the Tanabe Medallian duel mufflers. These give a nice look, and a small performance gain, with a deeper sound, but not to deep or loud. Intake (considering we have dual's) would be either the Short Ram R2C intake, or Long Tube Stillen Gen 3. These are the 2 best intakes in my opinion out right now.

Goodluck!

If he gives you a hard time, just ask him about his fuel pump on his 335i. They have an issue with dying without any notice and it makes the car go into limp mode. Then ask him about overheating...Finally, ask him if the car was worth 10-15k more than yours.
