I don't know if anyone here even cares, but any pilots out there might find it interesting. I grew up in Seattle, So it was completely different flying over the space needle and over Sea-Tac at such low altitudes. I can’t wait to go again! 3.6 hours total flight time for the trip.

It was so cool flying inside the class C veil. My trip started at Hillsboro Oregon, and went direct to Boeing Field Seattle, Washington, only took 1 hour and 20minutes, including the ILS approach to Runway 13R @ BFI.

Do you use a GPS at all. IF you do is the GPS suited for IFR and ILS? But that sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah, it's a Bendix/King model, I'm not sure exactly which model, I think it's KLN 94 maybe. it has full color remote display in the C-172SP that I fly. It is IFR certified, but only when the database is updated, it is so frustrating trying use dual VOR's when it's not current. The autopilot will actually fly a GPS approach all the way to your Minimum Descent Altitude when you disconnect it. I've just recently got the hang of the auto-pilot. Are you a pilot too?

We just landed, went to have some lunch while the aircraft was being fueled and then climbed in to return back to Oregon. I'd really like to come see it sometime though, bring some pictures w/ you to Ireland. I'll take a look. Maybe when you come home for Christmas or something like that.
