First ever pass in the LS14...

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

hey cnichols,

Im the guy with the vh45 s14,

I just ran the car in the 1/8 mile on sunday

Im not a big dragger but so i have no idea what this translates into 1/4 mile time

The track i ran it at is an abonded air strip converted to drag strip, it was really ****ty, i had wheel spin thru third gear, i think i have more traction on the street to be honest with you

My best run was

60 ft 2.11/8 7.83mph 82

What do you think that will translate into 1/4 mile time

Don't know...those #'s look really weird. No way you should have a 7.83 in the 1/8th with that low of a mph and that high of a 60'. It wasn't an 8.83 or maybe 92 mph?

If that's correct, I'm confused and couldn't tell you with any accuracy.

Well its a ****ty drag strip, that was the best run i had according to the announcer but i didnt get a time slip for that one, id did get one time slip for another slower run, ill fish it out of the car in a few minutes.

Problem with that track was that only the first 300 ft where prepped and the rest was slick concrete and my tires was almost toast from drifting, so i would have to be on and off of it in third gear which probably slowed me down a bit

Lookin good Chris...now you just need a few BPU's and you'll be running 11's all day.

good runs Chris.

I got to run a New C6 today and beat it so I guess I should do pretty well at the track. Although I need the DR first.

You definitely should have a good shot at 11s if you can get that 60' down...hell, even without. I was wheel hopping almost all through 1st. Can't belive I didn't break an axle.
