This is just a base map with no tune. I havent got my wideband yet and we blew the intake pipe off. The idea was just to make sure A/F ratio was good. It was very rich so i have quite alot of HP to drag out of her yet. Tires broke loose at 70mph on the hwy. BOOYA!!

oh i will for sure. Ive had the turbo in for a few weeks now and just havent been able to get it tuned. Seems to be one roadblock after another. Still got a few kinks to work out. Need to get some more T bolt clamps so the intake pipe wont blow off. Also these numbers on the dyno are all only up till 4200 rpm. with the stock maf sensor it gets all confused and runs crappy. Needless to say breaking loose in 4th gear below 4200rpm is awsome.

The Turbo was about $6000 but then there is always extra goodies. Utec was another $1000 Wideband $500 $40 for some dyno time thanx to the Mazda race team! I installed it all with the help of my good friend. Also self tuned so far. Still running rich but i will lean it out some more tomorrow and hit the dyno again with the wideband installed. The thing goes like a raped ape! Should be able to get it over 360 hp at the rear wheels. got lots more work to do.

Yikes! I've been following a DIY turbo on another forum...the guy says that he can build what is basically a turbonetics kit, for under 2k minus tuning. So far, he's at 1200 with piping, the snail, and other hardware.

Still not sold on single turbo...twins maybe, but the install cost would kill me. I'll get a vortech when they figure out their recent manufacturing issues.

I very much doubt you can build this setup for under $6000. The cost in custom fab pipe would kill ya. when you buy the Turbonetics kit it comes with an ECU flash but they dont have one for the 06 so i had to go with an aftermarket ECU piggyback. Another issue is that the stock MAF sensor gets lost after 4700 rpm under boost so you need to get a map sensor aswell. I had no idea when i started this little project it was going to cost so much. It will be worth it in the end but im sure ive spent an extra $600 in mistakes. I bought an Emanage Ultimate and all the fixins but its no good for anything 06 and up. Its now for sale if anyone's interested.
