i just got my first 240sx yesterday.... so this night i was seeing what i could do and how fast i could corner, so i was going about 40 into a roundabout and all of a sudden my back wheels slide out from under me and i was fully sideways in the roundabout, so i countered the wheels and stepped on the gas, i got out of the drift with a little fish tailing but not bad, i would have to say that was the best feeling in the world, but i was tripping because i didnt mean to drift at first...that was crazy....that is my story... share your if you want....

Damn man that's pretty cool, My first drift was when I was late 14. I have been around cars for awhile. But yea it does feel amazing.

Be careful on roads, don't get tickets!

the same day you got a car, you tried pushing it to its limits. good job. you are the definition of stupidity and reckless driving. soon there will be one less 240, increasing the drift tax on mine. thanks.

I had an accidental inertial drift a few weeks ago in the rain on my rotting datsun wheel tires... Bad bad thing. Rear end swung into other lane around a blind curve, def didn't mean to do it I was being careful. Good thing I have had countersteer training lol.

Don't drift on purpose on the streets nub. Your car you love so much will die and you won't be happy.

My first time was with my girlfriend (bad idea) in the car in the rain. She even said nice job after it was over. And of course i acted like I ment to do it. but im sure my face said otherwise.

I turned a corner too fast once as well. I did a fishtail type maneuver. It was quite the experience.

It is indeed the best feeling in the world but it can also end up being the worst feeling in the world. Point is, you didn't mean to do it and it happens, especially with the S-Chassis. The rear end tends to break loose quite often. Whether it's a ditch, ice, dirt, or rain. Let's just say I've had my experiences and it never ended in tragedy. I'd say keep it for the empty parking lots or track. Not everybody has fast hands for countersteering and even quicker reflexes for reaction. Good to hear that you enjoyed it!

I try not to call unintentional slides "drifts."

I prefer the much more apt term of "f***ing up while driving and happening to not get myself killed."

basically

i wouldnt call accidental oversteer a drift, drift is intentional and with technique and experience and what not

thats just...well accidental oversteer lol, same category as accidental understeer

still a rush though

It's so invigorating. Like the HOT leather of a chair, or the cool wind from the north all over my naked body.

Ahaha I had my first "drift" I would call it more of a save but whatever we're calling those drifts now... Anyways I was on a two lane road and some a** in a wrx was pushing me in the twisty bits and the back end got loose, btw this is an automatic, I just gave it a little gas and flicked the wheel the other way n it straightened out. It was fun, but scary n I'm gonna try not 2 do it on the streets...
