First compliment from a stranger.

So I was at a light and this older women(I would say around mid 30s)told me to pull down my window, and she asked me is this car new. I said we'll it's not new, it's an 08'. Then she asked if it was a Hybrid, I was like um no, just regular. Then she was like "I love the way it looks, and what you've done with it" Then drove off. It's funny how some people still haven't seen this car.

lol i had a similar experience a while back. this older lady, mid 40's started talking to me at a red light, asking me what kinda car i had, and i told her what it was. then she started complimenting my system (and i was playing rap lol). she was in aww of my car. saying she wishes she could afford to get a new car, because mine looks so nice.. freakin' hilarious.

and every time i pick up my friends at night, as soon as they open the door and step in. they're like, "every time i get in your car, i feel like i'm going to a club." ha ha ha

and the topper. i picked up my nurse friend from a bar a block ovr from my house the other night, and drove her home (which is in wasco, 35 miles away). when she opened the door to get in, she's like "wtf sam, you see this s*** jen? she's got f***in' lights in her damn car. i swear sam, your chinese is really starting to come out." ha ha ha

I was at this place getting gelato with my gf last week. And i'm walkin out to my car, and this old guy (like early 40s) is like doing walk arounds on my car...and then like peeking inside the cabin. And he's goes to me, "is this yours?" and i'm like "yea"...and he's like, "Is this one of those new GTR's?" and i chuckle and say "no man, its an altima coupe". And he's like, "Oh, i havent seen an altima like this before" and i'm like "Ya, its a coupe" and he's like "ohh, looks like you've 'dressed it up some there' ". Lol...it was too funny.

I shoulda played along and said it was a GTR...LOOL

when I was walking out of the college study hall today this guy came up to me and was like, dude sweet car, whats it sound like?? So I revved it a few times and he was like wow! is that a V8??

lmao I was like nope, nissan only makes a V8 for their trucks. He was was like thats so cool, it sounds like the cars off "need for speed".

I've had a few random people compliment the way my car looked. It makes me happy when they do. But my favorite time was one where no words were ever said.

I was sittin in starbucks with my sister and this guy and his wife pull into the parking lot in a Z. They get out and as they walk by my car, the guy just stops and stares. He then proceeds to slowly walk around the car giving it a good look. Then he crouches down and just stares at my wheels for a minutes. When he was done I saw him just give a little nod of approval to himself.

I've received many compliments/questions about my car as well. Some of the most notable:

About 2 weeks after I got it, I had just parked and was getting out of my car when some guy walking through the parking lot did a triple take, then looked at me and said "Man, I thought that was a BMW, not a Nissan". (wait, is that a compliment????!!!!???). He looked kinda drunk or high to me, but still a compliment is a compliment!

One time after I had just picked up my dry cleaning, I was walking back to my car and a middle aged man was peering into the back seat of my car with his back to me. In any other car I've owned, I would've assumed he was trying to steal something but for some reason with this car I just knew he was trying to get a better look at the interior. Anyway, as I was walking up to my car, I made the windows come down remotely which made him stare at them quizzically before realizing what was going on and turning around to talk to me. We chatted for a minute or so about the car, features and price. He told me he had never seen this car before and had no idea the Altima came in a coupe.

Also are all of the people in traffic who can't take their eyes off of my car when I pass them (I see you in the rearview!)

I didn't mean to offend anyone who is over 30 I personally call people who are 10yrs old. They are OLDER to me but not old, I think 65 is old lol. My family and girlfriends family really likes my car. I love the Altima Coupe it's a whole new car compared to the sedan.(Not knocking the sedan now, I've got an 07 and 05 Altima sedan in my family) When I was walking to my car for a nap during my break from school I found a note saying "I love your rims! You've gotta tell me where you got them call me 516-xxx-xxxx" I was like wow...it was the first compliment from a stranger.

i've noticed a lot more looks and stares since it put my c-mod on. Since there is no prevalent nissan burger on the front no one can tell what it is at first(to the untrained eye) i get asked if I put a body kit on or something.

it's kinda funny sometimes, a few 350z drivers around here seem intimidated by it. I don't see why.....once they figure out thats its an altima I would think they would realized its not in the same catagory.....

for example on more than one occasion and different Zs....ive just been driving in the left lane not really paying attention, ill see a z in my mirror and they are kinda hangin back in my blind spot in the right lane, when I turn on my left blinker they know i'm about to get off and they will gun it past me.

I'm like "your car will beat mine in almost any type of race and you have to pull out a ricer flyby on me to try and proove you faster....pathetic "

I enjoy it though, knowing a 350z driver is THAT insecure lol ( not downing any Z drivers, just the few that live around me )
