first classic and a couple of questions

ive searched and couldnt find my answers.

this is my first se-r. just got it today and trying to get everything up and running

1.im going to get my a/c recharged but b4 i do i would like to get my blower switches fixed. the blower wont work on any speed but hi. is this a simple fix?

2. theres a noise coming from the pass front strut area. like a thud when i hit a bump. nothing abrubt but it can be annoying.any ideas on what this could be? i want to nip it in the but b4 something big comes of it.

any help on this would be great. thanx

The reason the blower only works on high is because the blower resistor needs to be replaced. It's located up underneath the dashboard. The thud you are hearing could be a simple replacement of the strut mount. Both are relatively easy fixes.
