Not recommended for a first car. I'm going to assume you're a young new driver? A performance sports car usually isn't the best idea for a new driver, Ive heard so many stories of Z's being wrecked because of it.

These are expensive cars to maintain. You can drive them in any weather you like so long as you respect them, but it is not suggested by a lot of owners to drive them in snow. Some will even avoid rain...

150k N/A in good condition w/ maintenance history? Around 3-5k. Excellent 5k+.

Not a good first car. 300ZX's run on (your) time and money. I would not rely on it as my daily.

150k is way too much. If your good with cars and plenty of extra crash, then go buy a lower mile Z. I'd say around 100k. Double check for oil leaks, crusty coolant and always ask when the timing belt was changed. Walk away if you see anything suspicious.

and stay away from the early model Z's.

All of the above, and for a first car owner NO WAY you drive it in snow. Even with experience they are a severe test on anything but straight flat roads.
I'll add to the above that the car is well known for electrical connector issues, and just plain high repair costs and difficulties finding reputable repair sources is common. You'll need to do as much of the work as possible which is more difficult than many/most cars, it takes a need and love of the car with some experience to best enjoy our Toys...
