As a 24 yr. old and family man and father of two boys I have managed to save up and purchase my first CA18DET. After so much searching and having the confidence to purchase from so many importer options I went with J-Spec Auto Sports from Virginia. They had a deal that I tought was too good to belive, a 31500 KM complete swap. I know the engine is as old as me and it seemed kind of iffy, but I still contacted them and they gave the following info. The engine was being sold a a clip but the buyer never came thru and it was parted out until it was just the engine swap. I was some what questionable about it, but it did look better than the other engines I was viewing. So on with the purchase. I recieved engine, transmission, ecu, uncut harness, complete with ignitor chip and coils, maf, and the speedometer that read 31500, and the original nissan air filter :naughty: What impressed was the fact that the engine was actually really clean all electrical clips are in great shape. They are not cracking from heat, and even the wrapping is good. I have not had the chance to open the valve cover but at first glance it looks great. I will post more detailed pics asap....

Clean engines are sometimes powerwashed, so might want to take things apart to make sure there's not water laying about... :D
