Well It's a general topic forum right??

Anyway, thought I would share since I was quite surprized myself. Entered my first and only race ever and did pretty good. I was shooting for under 28 minutes since a buddy of mine ran a race the week before and ran 28.5 minutes. I ran it in 25.08 minutes. It was just a local fundraiser for a school that my buddies kid goes to so not very competative. Out of 215 runners I came in 19th overall and 3rd in my age bracket!!

Good job bro. Nice to see you doing a fundraiser too.

I couldn't walk 5K in 25 minutes, let alone run it.

I need to get my lazy butt back into shape and quit smoking... again.

VIA LA GENERAL DISCUSSIONS!!!

Nice job on the race, I do ALL my racing with my giant right foot but good for you.

My wife ran track in HS... 12 second flat 100 meter was her best. Blew a knee triple jumping but still crazy fast runner. My son is 3 years old 45 lbs and 3' 8" I have big dreams for him.

Easter wife is due July

Thanks fellas,

G-woods that is quick. Its amazing what some people can do. I was talking to a lady at the race and in college she said she ran a marathon with an average pace of 8 minutes!!

I'm doing another run on the 28th for special olympics up towards Evergreen (the mountains). It's 11.6 miles or a shorter course of 5 miles. Not sure which one I will do yet but I my times will be much longer.
