....and a 400 whp 350Z would still be slower than a 400 whp 240. I like 350Z's also and wouldn't mind having one, but if I were to spend around $15k-$20k, I'd get a used C5 instead. Which is what I plan to do. Although kids have ruined the image of 240's these past few years. 240's still holds more of a sentimental value to me and the Corvette offers more for the money than a 350Z. I'm sure a lot of 350Z owners would disagree. 350Z's are great cars, but it won't be long until kids starts ruining the image of 350Z's also.bmike818 wrote:lightwieght 300whp 240 huh?
...it can't beat a 400whp 350Z

I hope this isnt aimed at me. Yeah im only 21 but I work 60-80 hours a week and pay all my rent and bills on time. My parents never bought me a car. Now that i have a nice one im going to take care of it because i know if i do it will last and if it breaks i will buy the parts and use my tools and my garage to fix it. Oh and for the guy that says hed take a vette over a z has never owned one. Theres just something about them once youve had 1 you will always want another. I could take 3 or 4k dollars and buy an s10 with a small block in it and beat any vette around but i wouldnt want to. Id rather buy a z and mod it because they look better than vettes. I cant afford a r34 or r35 or id have 1 instead.BusyBadger wrote:Its already started.
