Hello, I have a 1994 limited edition 240sx and LOVE it! re the welded rear diff, it will wear the tires sooner, and could put more strain on the axles. Im pretty sure youre going to have more turn resistance and less turn radius. You can check Nicoclub.com website's welded differential discussion/question thread for pros and cons. All in all, a great car. I use FULL synthetic oil and transmission, and it pays to splurge on the good gas :-). Dont think you will have any regrets.

Nice yea I e heard their fun cars to have and yea that's what a buddy told me is the tires will wear a lot faster with the welded diff and my other problem with mine is that my gas tank is a fuel cell in the trunk I'm not a fan of that ha

I've never been fond of the coupes. However, the Silvia front end definitely changes the appeal. So yeah, that's the only way I'd own a coupe. Hatchback for life! :chuckle:

Any pics of your car?

Coupes are great cars and tend to handle a tad better than a hatch (less flex). As is mentioned above, welded rear diff isn't very desirable for daily driving. It will wear tires, put strain on all the components in the rear end and will have the potential to bounce a bit taking corners. I would personally look for a J30 or Z32 diff if you want it locked at any point. It will be worth it in the long run to save yourself the time and money now replacing tires and broken parts.
