First 240sx Need Help.

i just bought a 1989 240sx and noticed that it has similiar problems as my friend.. gauge lights dont work and windows didnt work.. was wondering if there is anything else i should watch out for?

Im going to be completely honest with you.....watch out for EVERYTHING....you bought an 89 dumby << no offense btw

Whats wrong with an 89? My first 240 was an 89. Buying jsut abotu any car that old is gonna have problems or things that need to be fixed. To the OP, check your fuses first. if the windows are power maybe the motors went out, if its a manual the glass may have come off the tracks/stripped a gear or somethign came loose in the door. If its not a fuse or what i just mentioned then check a wiring diagram and go backwards from the lights or windows.

download a FSM (factory service manual) it will save you a ton of headaches.

The biggest thing i can think to watch out 4 is rust especially in the frame rails behind the front wheels and the seam on the top of the shock towers. If caught early u can have it fixed.
