First 240

hey everyone,

i am going to be buying a 240 for the first time. if you guys could give me some tips and hints on...

1. what are good years for the car
2. common problems i should look for
3. price range for a stock 240
4. what else should i know before handing the owner some money for the car

um this can all be found by easily searching and by reading stickies.

But look in the spare tires well, under the battery, bring a jack and put it under the Diff and jack it up and inspect the suspension in rear and look at frame rails. <---- The entire time looking for rust or for something that shouldn't be bent but is.

I didn't look over my coupe and kinda lucked out, but I still see a ton of stuff that could be fixed on it. You can keep this thread up and if you go look at one you are pretty sure of... right down any info on it you can and take some pics of interior exterior and motor and we can tell you if asking price is good.
