LET'S GO TO HOOTERS!!! ......how about NOT!If it's anything like the Jan. 25th Meet at Hooters 2004 last year- alot of non-240 owners will show up outta nowhere. Hooters chairs are uncomfortable- most everybody didn't even order food because they didn't have money or already ate. Tables only sit like 4-6 people. Hard to get tables together. They want you outta there fast.

Now Portillo's on the other hand- people will eat/afford the food- plenty of room to place tables together- we can chill there longer and sit across and chat with actual 240 owners.

Bringing this thread back to life! I have tried posting elsewhere, but have gotten limited responses, so here it goes.

The local Dodge SRT-4 club meets up every Wednesday night near my house and they were having a heated arguement about FWD drifting.

So, I thought that maybe we could possibly show them a thing or two. Not that I'm all that great, but I could definately show these boys a thing or two. I know some of you guys can really get crazy so here's my open invitation.

Every Wednesday Brunswick Zone on 75th St.1/2 mile east of I355 off of the 75th St. exit on the south-hand side of the streetThey meet at 9:00 and usually have a turnout of at least 15-20They park near the front of the lot - you can't miss them.

The SRT-4 squad is friendly and usually have a good time. My friend owns one so I usually tag along with him for the meets. Might be a good time. Shoot some pool, bowl, etc. Let me know if you're interested so I can tally a head count.

So, would anyone be up for this Wednesday March 9th? I will be there regardless of everyone coming out, so if there is only a few who want to come, rest assured that you won't be alone.

Great Lake Dragway is open. I think I am going up there on friday. It opens at 6pm and closes at 10pm. The website says that fun racing is free, but I would bring $30 I think it was $26 to race last year.

I was thinking about meeting at the last oasis on 294 around 5:20 and leaving from there at 5:30. That should get anyone who wants to meet there around the time it opens. Normally Fridays are pretty busy up there, but its early in the year so I don't think it will be that bad. If anyone wants to go either post here or email me. [email protected]
