firmware upgrade for 2008 EX35 Nav

Anyone who works in Infiniti service know if there are firmware upgrades available for 2008 EX35s to bring them up to par in functionality with 2010s?

According to NAVTEQ information, the Infiniti navigation system 09-10 for HDD system is compatible for the 2008-2009 EX.

I think this is just a map update. Not all the bells and whistles the 2010 might have over the 2008.

yeah that's just map data which I don't need. I want the 2010 firmware to bring my unit into parity with functionality.

does anyone know the name of Infiniti's shop software that the service tech uses? I have similiar software for my Volvo that basically allows me to do anything a shop technician can do.
