Firewall access for amp power wire on J30?

Searched but couldn't find anything on this. Where did you guys access the interior when you installed your amp(s)? I can't find anything that looks suitable on the battery side of the car. Thanks for any help.

I drilled a hole in the passenger side front floor board, right at the top level of the carpet. Pretty much a straight shot from there to the battery.

Theres ahole inside the fender on the battery side u can aCCess if you take the plastic water gaurd thing thats under the fender out, after that u will see a wire harness entering the car, put the amp wire throgh that and fish the wire though to the interior then continue the wire to the trunk.

When i wired up a sub for my Q45 I ran it with the cable for the hood release. something to consider.

i basically did the same thing as gr8scott72, but i didnt drill a hole. i noticed there was already a rubber grommit in place, i dont believe it was being used for anything. so i just took a sharp phillips screwdriver and jabbed it through there, then used some 26 AWG wire or so, and put that from the inside of the car to the outside, reached down behind the engine, pulled it up and make it stay on my power wire, then pulled it in. it was a ***** to get that 4AWG wire through.

i went down alongside the fuel lines on the underside of the car, then through the hole under the back seat to the trunk. good luck with the firewall though\

I did the exact same thing here, up to the battery through the front wheel well, right?

fyi: i did this with another wire i needed inside my car, but i damaged the rubber grommet. didn't think anything of it until it rained and water followed the cable and wire inside my car. with a lot of electronics near this driver's side area i was lucky only to damage my alarm system and a dead battery in the morning. remember to water proof any new wirings and holes..
