finnaly got a 240

hey guys,
my name is seth and after almost a year i finnaly got a 240.

i orriginally signed up here back when i was going to trade my 97 turbo miata for a 91 hatch but due to the distance of the car I never had time to do the trade. Well fast forward a bit I spun a bearing in the miata and needed to get rid of it and someone came to me looking to trade his 91 coupe. After about a week of going back and fourth he finnaly came up last night and we did the trade.

i dont have any pictures yet since it was about 11pm last night when he came up but hopefully ill have some later this week.

i'm not new to forums but im more of a lurker at times.

what are you planning to do it? S13 or S14? I'm new here! am planning on buying a RB25 and do a swap on a S14!!

no idea on plans yet... just another car that runs and drives for now. i havn't even had the time to look over the car much.. it got dropped off at 11pm

it has a welded diff, full cage, good running KA with an intake and some upgraded clutch(forget what brand), NRG quick release hub and wheel, all the rust has been fixed up and has a new black paint job.

just needs a dash, center console, and passenger seat and its good to go

nice, you're probably gona end up hating the welded dif. look into a j30 vlsd. dash and console--> rape another 240 in the junkyard. look into s14 seats, great upgrade. also try and pad the cage with some thing like those foamy tubes. nothing like getting in a wreck and smacking those cage bars and dying. be on the safe side.

thanks but theres no 240s in any of the junk yards around me so ive emailed just about everyone i can saying they are parting one out. ill look into the seats and i know about getting padding for the cage.. a cage on any street car isnt always the best idea

also look into upgrading the brakes, i have some calipers i'll let go from a j30 for $50 plus $15 for priority box shipping. then do a rear brake upgrade by getting the altima 2002 rear rotors, and using a z31(300zx) caliper bracket. one of the best combos ever.

Love the black with smoked tails. Wheels look good too, all things considered.
