i've been running them for maybe a little over a year now, with a plenum, rubber couplers, stock ecu, etc.. it sucks.
i had aluminium flanges welded onto the itb's and the stock runners recently, so i redid everything, including vacuum, pcv, and brake booster vacuum.
i came across a few issues. the hood wouoldn't close with the plenum attached. the itb's weren't sync'ed very well, and i had pinhole leaks in the welds. a bit of jb weld took care of the leaks, some time with 4 boost gauges took care of the synchronizing. the hood cleatence was another story. if i raised the rear it still wouldnt clear. i was 2" short of clearing. so before i started on fabbing a new plenum, i tried an idea i had been toying with. using an afc neo, i found a in/out setting that allowed me to run a MAP sensor in place of the MAF sensor. it was mostly trial and error but the car runs and drives just fine. it sound sick and makes funky noises from the itake side
