Thanks man, I've put alot of dough and time into de-grandpafying it.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Looks fantastic! I LOVE those wheels, what are they?
The speaker surround for the subs behind the seats is very cool, nice work.
Just keep turning it up and eventually the bass will cancel out the rattle. I finally came to the conclusion that unless unless I want to spend hundreds on dynamat, I'm going to have to deal with the rattle.D-Maxima wrote:its so freaking clean!!!!
+1 for the wheels
my sub shakes and rattles the spoiler too and my speaker covers. its really annoying now.
doesnt do much whichever way I face the sub
Off roading, what about speed bumps!snwbrdr435 wrote:needs to be lowered, your off roading.
facing the subs to the rear will force the sound waves to bounce off the trunk and back into the cabin. having them that will will sound okay with the seats down, however if you were to leave the seats down with the subs facing the other way it would be much louder. btw we basically have the same exact setup except i got projectors and chrome lexanis, besides that our cars are identical.trent.davis23 wrote:

I think they are an old version of the AXIS Hiros. 19" staggered.
I set the subs up like that on accident. My spoiler rattled so bad when the speakers faced back so I tried turning them around and it worked great. I was trying to hide something once so I folded the seats down and, well, they stayed like that. The bass is so much more effective forward facing, I don't know why its so much more popular to face them towards the rear.
Thanks, It's an I30 though. Just shaved the logo on the back and replaced the grille.AcMav wrote:

I usually tend to like I30's more than I35's But this one really is beautiful. I give you props man, very nice job, Makes me wish my I30 was this clean.
But how is your passenger going to be amazed by the giant speaker when they turn around to look?blazncypher wrote:

Did? new car man, same exact mods just different color and a little newer. I got the 35 grille for the 30 on car-part.com, spoiler was ebay (had to paint myself though) The rims are 19's staggered, I'll get you the tire sizes next time I think about it. And the ride is absolutely terrible, It's strictly cosmetic. Thanks though, you got side skirts? They either make or break our car IMOAmosnorider wrote:Your mods did look pretty sick. i just got my I30 and want it to look similar to yours (pre crash). BTW that sucks.Where did you get the I35 grille and spoiler? What size rims and tires were you running? How did the ride change compared to the factory set?
