The color I want is not one sprayed by any manufacturer. It's like that flat opaque Audi TT charcol grey color, but lighter and more grey. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to go about finding that right color. Is it possible to get little samples mixed by paint manufacturers to test-paint a panel or something?

Thanks fellas.

Yes its possible to do that. A good paint company should be able to make just about any color you would want. Of course they'll charge you for it.

Quote »Of course they'll charge you for it.[/quote]considering the cost of the paint, what would you say is a reasonable price for a sample to be mixed and sprayed on a piece of metal for me?

Yeah it is gorgeous, there's some 16 year old kid who lives down the street from me with an anthracite supra with gold blitz rims, breathtaking. Of course the kid is a total fag though and has no appreciation for the car, his parents bought him the car that way, he wants to get some DUBS (YEAH!), I'm trying to convice him to sell me the rims because he has no idea how much they're worth. As for the changing the color of your car, any good body shop should be able to work with you on that and come up with the shade you want with a little bit of mixing and experimenting, but it'll cost you an arm and a leg.
