i looked at my fsm and it seems to show a set of relays that dont seem to exist...i could be wrong but i really just dont see them. i'm looking for the fuel pump relay, i've been having some weird engine trouble lately and i'm thinking that is the culprit. the engine is hard to start, when reving the tack will butterfly and then die, and when we try to move it it wants to die all the time. where getting 6 volts to the fuel pump on prime and post prime. sound about right? we tryed installing my walbro 255 and it wouldnt even run on it.

I you have an S13 it will in the passenger side of the engine bay right behind your battery. It is the second relay from the battery. You might want to have your alternator or your battery tested while your at it. My car keep dying because my battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore and the alternator couldn't produce enough electrical power at idle causing my engine to Die.

yes please do check your charging system first. if it is, then youve started off cheap, and not really done all that much spending to fix it. im sure youve checked your sparks and wires. but like ive learned, do the easy cheap stuff first. on my mazda mx6 LS it started running like crap, infact it felt like the 6th cylinder wasnt even firing, i checked the voltage through the wire and sure enough it was like a decimal. changed the wires and wala! it was better

i guess an update is in order. i checked the fuel pump relay after looking for another 30 minutes. this is on a s14 btw, left that out. checked it, and it was find. installed the walbro and its now working fine, i ended up taking it to a shop and they found out there was "some wire pulled loose" that was about all i got out of them but you could see where they had rewrapped the main harness. its running now, but not like it should. i'm getting a tps sensor code and when i pass a certain point on the throttle the afm goes off the lean end. the car pulls but with alot less power then it should, some time the afm light will pop right up and the power comes back, it usully does it when i pass like 4,200 rpms or at very little throttle. i checked the resistance between connector 3 and 2? the very top wire and the second from the top, it read between .45 to 4.25 something close to that. any easy way to check this?what wire is a signal wire?

p.s. it malfunctions most when driving. or is noticable when driving.
