KA (single and dual cam) ones work fine. I'd reccomend at least replacing the radiator in your car with at least a new oem radiator, (if not a thicker alluminum unit), because the one that's in there is probably messed up. And please read the faq and search. 97% of any questions you have can be answered via the search and faq.

You don't get it. These threads were stuck on top of the forum and have this picture next to them:

They have titles like "READ BEFORE POSTING" and such. I'm just trying to send you on the right path here. Jeez

If you want to get out cheap you want the OEM style replacement for an 89-90 KA24E Automatic transmission unit that has a 2 row core (Auto trans cooler). Not all have it so be specific that you want the 2 row.

Here is the one I was talking about:

Not bad for an OEM peice. The end tanks are plastic but as long as you dont have trapped air pockets in there you're fine.

Yea it actually does; unfortunatly copper prices are going through the roof right now. Metal recyclers here in Michigan are paying like $4.25 a pound for copper right now.

Looks like Koyo rads work quite well

I guess I'll have to replace the one my car came with, it's not the Hi-perf unit though, just a stock Koyo replacement

sorry to thread jack

i have a Koyo OEM replacement. it works really well, and with the Altima fan setup, i could set it so it never reaches the 3rd line on the water temp gauge.

your stock temp gauge isnt very accurate.

and you dont want to run your engine that cool.
