For about I'd say 2-3 months if not less I've been searching for a 5spd 1995 240SX with the 5 spoke alloys (perferably moon roof and spoiler) for about 3,000-4,000 dollars. Now I know I should be patient and not give up my hopes just yet but it seems lately that all the ones that were around when I didn't have the money just disappeared, and the rest are way to expensive now.

What sucks even more is seeing all the ones that are for sale on Autotrader but are a thousand miles away :( or AUTOMATIC, I don't think I've hated that word more in my life, lol.

Anyways I'm just posting this up to let off some steam and what not, just gets annoying after time. I'm even planning on selling my Altima after I find the 240 so I can have some extra money just incase I need it. :rolleyes

Dude, I got the exact car you are looking for a few months ago. Except for the 5 spoke wheels. Took me about 3 months to find. I ended up finding it in a cheap car sales newpaper at a dealership. Just keep looking

Took me a couple months after I sold my GN to find what I wanted, '96 SE model with leather, ABS, sunroof, and all the other options. Had to drive 3 hours to look at it and wnet back that Monday to get it. So, I drove a total of 12 hours to buy this car. It was perfect, everything I wanted plus it already had some upgrades that I wanted and brand new paint. Just keep looking, one will turn up!!

Took me about 2 1/2 months to find the one i want. It actually just appeared on the street where i live.

Wasnt for sale or anything but i placed a paper on his windshield asking if he was selling it and he actually did in fact want to.

So if you ever see a 240 that you like on the street place something in case he is selling, you might get lucky and it will be a compliment to the owner = D.

it only took me a couple of hours on the net to find mine. then had to wait until the next day to hit the dealer cause they were already closed.

i found the add the day it was posted. i was lucky to get in there as soon as i did. there had been other calls on the car and people willing to drive several hours to get it.

oh and there is a car almost exactly like you are looking for that i found aswell but its here in oregon.

Took me 7 months of Autotrader searching. My main goal was a 5spd Kouki. So, when one showed up for $4,800 bucks I drove to San Diego and snatched it even though it was a base model. Original owner too :ylsuper

I spent a good 6 months looking for a 92-93 coupe. I even drove down to orlando to buy one only to find that they had sold the car mere minutes before I got there. For the love of god, I could see the woman inside signing the papers! After a while i became disillusioned and came incredibly close to giving up. Then one day I happen to see an s14 for sale. It was an automatic, so I dismissed that perticular car, but I fell in love with the s14's body style. long story short, 3 months later I happen to find a '95 SE in my very town. I payed $4700 for it, but I consider it well worth it. Moral of the story is: never give up, the car will eventually come.

Just a side note, if you're looking for a freakin' top of the line SE S14 in good condition you really should re-evalute your price range...or atleast lower your standards. It's quite easy to see why you've been waiting so long. But I guess if I wait long enough, I can get a C5 ZO6 for 50 bucks. :rolleyes
