if any of you guys order the GR basic, have the shipper make sure that the item has the pillowball mounts and camber plate, because apparently stance didn't have them assembled in some of their products.

ummm the install sucked. rusted bolts, stripped nuts, finding out the stock pillowball doesnt fit the coilovers after compressing the spring to take it out, then putting that strut back together, and more things that went wrong...

They're alright, not too stiff at all when you're on the softer side of the dampening, between 1 - 4. My downpipes been scraping everywhere, so i officialy feel like a cool kid now, i'm probably going to raise it tomorow, and bumpsteer aint no joke guys lmao. i'm going to get some outter tie rods and rucas sometime this week, then i'll give driving impressions.yeah i know my car's not pretty

Negative camber really won't eat tires that much if your toe is good.

i know tougefactory.com has them, but they're expensive over there. i have the email from Stance with directions on how to assemble the coilovers, i'll post it if you guys want. it's not that complicated... but it's not exactly "commen sense" either. If i recall correctly, stance messed up a batch that went out to multiple places. but i am REALLY fed up with shipment problems.. almost everytime i order something online, something gets lost, or messed up... if i could do this over again, i would've gotten megan racing coils or KTS

everyone i know has megans, and i've driven two cars with megans, and they're really not that bad. The steering response is way better than the stance basics. the basics feel a little bit sloppy... at almost every dampening level.

i've never heard of a good reason to down the megans. They're not like your high end stances but they ARE considerably cheaper. if i could do this all over again, i wouldve gotten kts or megan. one of my friends has had his for over a year, no problems. My other friend has had his for two months, and he backroads almost everyday, crashed his car twice, and the megans are still fine. he destroyed his steering rack. if you get megans, i'd get them from http://www.hopupracing.com , they sell them for 900$ shipped, cheapest i've seen

Um so about the play in my steering, the shop pulled the tie rod out a little bit, would that cause the play? or could my pillowball mounts cause the play?

can you post up the instructions that stance gave you?

I installed my gr basics last sunday and now my car bounces up and downwhen I hit a small bump in the road. It feels like im riding on cut springs!

I adjusted the dampening to soft then took the car around the blockand it still bounced up and down, adjusted it to hard and the bouncynessis still there.

Does your gr basics ride like that?
