So, i have been patiently waiting. Searching everywhere for another Q, since my old one got Boned (t-Boned ) Tho she sits in my driveway, under a tarp, with everything there, and 99%complete. I could even get it back on the road, but it would be salvaged cuz of the inner-structure damage, So i didnt. But its has PERFECT tan interior.

Anyways, back to my story.

I came across this beauty on craigslist for 900. Called the guy up, spent some time BS-ing with him, decided what-the-hell, and went to look at it.

Its a 1991 Q45, Clean title170,xxxBurgandyNon TCSWith HICAS

THE GOODS;-Eibach Springs (only about 4 months drive time on them)-Tokico Blues (only about 4 months drive time on them) -06 G35 Rim's with new Goodyear rubber-Ebay Drilled rotors with ceramic pads

THE BADS;-It didnt run, and he couldnt figure out why. Wouldnt run on its own power, but it ran on ether.-Interior was Black/white combo, and the driver seat was shot to hell.-Non of the electronics in the driver seat worked eather.-The power antenna was broken off-The Climate control didnt work-Both side brake lights didnt work, but the 3rd on the spoiler did. -Dented passenger fender-a HOLE in the hood!!! (the size of a dime)-General Clear coat pealing everywhere.

Now he was asking 900 to start of with, but then i peeped into his garage and saw he had a bodydropped toyota half torn apart!!

I was like "HEY! You need some parts for that?" And he was like "HEY! Hell yes I do!" And i said "So you wanna trade?" He said "SURE" And then i did a little dance!!!!!

So i drove back a few days later with a handfull of parts of my other Q.Fuel Pump, Pump relay, and Fuel Pump control unit. I ran some test's, threw the fuel pump in it, and DROVE IT HOME!!!

Ill try and put pix up (when i figure out how)of both cars. Im gonna part all of the extras out, so if you need anything, Hit me up!

Thanks for reading, and lets let the building begin!!!!

Congrats on your new pickup. Its always nice to have a parts car too. I have 2 of the same color, one is my parts car. Had an accident last winter and found it cheaper to buy a whole new one so i picked one up from FLA and had it shipped up other than getting a new hood and bumper. Having a parts car is a lot of help i tell ya. Something goes wrong and you already have half the s*** you need.

I here ya there! But i'm having some VERY VERY bad ideas about my "parts car" im gutting all of the interior anyway, dash and all. but the car still runs and drives. Soo..... im thinking track car!!!!Once i bag my new one, then im gonna throw the Tokicos and Eibachs on that one, then 4.08's, cage, the works!!!hehe hehe

Tokicos and Eibachs are nice. Well, i dont have the Eibachs YET but the tokicos give it a nice firm noticeable ride. I would go elsewhere before you do the 4.08. Like 5 speed or, supercharger, turbo, ETC. To me, even though i haven't done it, 4.08 just seems like an almost worthless mod compared to others you can do for around the same price or a touch more. Hell you can get a whole other Q for just the price of either of these. But thats just my opinion. Post what you mod. Would love to see

Good point.what do you think the 0-60 results would be with the 4.08's?

So far im thinkingNico ECUTranny Upgrade, or at least ECUSupercharger (anybody seen the 450z with the supercharger? )3" electric cutouts right behind the CATS (not really for proformance, just sound. Well, maby it will help me with it being boosted. idk. will see.)4.08 spoolEFI WET NOS kitElectric Fan's .....WHat Else? Not a street Car, ALLLLL TRACK!

I like the fact that you want to build a bad a** G50 but you have to make sure the drive train will take it. So make sure everything is in good working order which I am sorry to say i doubt it.

But there was topic where Q45Tech said a 1990-1993 Q45 Original transmission with a 1997-2001 Q45 differential emulated a 4.08 differential without the loss of MPG, But clearly you don't care about MPG's.

Is this the supercharger you want: http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/...er/13?

Electric fans have been shown to provide little if any gain.

hmm where to start? i guess you could make sure you have a few doobers or beers handy, it keeps the stress at a lower level As far as the dash goes, ive replaced my clock climate control and tape player. Even that took a descent amount of time. Thats not even taking off the top piece glove box and the rest of it. Honestly, I like the black better than tan. I had tan in my old Q now its black. Now pearl leather with black seatbelts, door trim, and floor mats, it looks pretty good. Just be patient and when you take the piece off that is above and on the sides of the wheel, put a sheet or blanket on the piece so you dont scratch or tear anything. I got a small knick in mine but its behind the steering wheel so you can't see it. otherwise it would drive me nuts. Also, i have some cheezy wood grain sticky stuff on mine so i had to make sure not to damage that. The only pain is to start when you gotta take off the center holder piece between the seats. Just for reference, make sure your wheel is extended seat is all the way back and battery is disconnected. also make sure you have your window down when you re connect it, sometimes the doors auto lock. probably won't take more than a full days worth of work. Hopefully your somewhere warm because up here in MA, its always cold from OCT to APR. Fortunately i have a garage and lift available. Only bad thing is its crammed with so much stuff its hard to find tools. Good luck and keep posting if you need help

Thanks Man, Good Idea About the window thing That would suck to get locked out.Its not cold here, but is deffinatly not "warm" eather. im mean, we dont get snow or anything, but its cold and wet right now. Will Keep everybody updated as i go. My Bro is actually the one working on it for me right now, tearing out the old interior. It gives him something to do in his shop class, and gets him a little more experience in differient areas. Plus, its the old interior, if it gets hurt, i wont cry too hard. But the install is where we will be slowly, and carefully cleaning and detailing every piece that we put in.
