Sorry not to second guess you but from a forum admin to another why not just disable or suspend his account until wednesday. IP ban seems over kill in this situation considering the IP ban is setup for trolls whom are banned but create new usernames, and not to mention if he is on adsl then his external IP changes, or if he uses a proxy, then the IP ban is moot. Granted there is nothing stopping him from creating a new account but I doubt he would go that far.

ahhh fair enough.....the username suspension with expiration was key on my board, very useful tool. Yeah I failed to see the login ban, you couldn't view the our forum unless you logged in. My bad.

Unfortunately we don't have the capability to put in ban expirations by username. Hopefully that will change at some point.
