Finally!!!! Video+Audio of the Stillen Exhaust!

Okay, today i went to my dealer and remeber that they had a all Stillen versa, the areo kit and the exhaust and some rims. So i asked the guy there if he could start it up and rev the engine here are some pix and a quick video, i understand the video u cant hear that well but i hope it can help people choose what they want. Stillen, or Tanabe. This exhaust i liked more then the tanabe because you can talk to a person even at WOT not too loud and certanly, not ricer. Altho i think the sticker price on the versa is a littttttle too high.

yah from the moment i put it on i loved it. Its definately ricey sounding, it sound like a mini 350z in a way i would say. but its definately worth the buy, i got mine on versaspeed.com

I don't know, i think the tanabe sounds a little tinny like a marble is rolling around in it. If you watch the video it sounds like when he lets off the gas the car farted =-\ just my opinion.

yeah, I essentially was hoping to make the car sound a bit more euro....a little bit less asian.

the mini (with stock equipment, I assume) sounds pretty good. I don't know if thats just engine or what the exhaust setup is like on that thing........it sort of purrs at low RPMs and then growls at hi rpms.....

I like the stillen sound alot better and am ready to get one for myself but versaspeed shows "out of stock". Want to give more business to our sponsors. So when can we expect the stillen exhaust ready to purchase bob?

Stillen is twenty minutes from me as is 99% of the companies I deal with so if it says "out of stock" I just go down and pick one up that morning from who ever I need it from....that easy!I also put on my blog the Stillen's exhaust sound/video clip so if you open two windows and go to the blog you can hear them next to each other. When I did that I see that the Stillen is a higher pitch and the Tanabe a deeper pitch.But don't worry, I can get it in in less then an hour as the same for anything....unless they are out of it but Stillen has them in stock and I can get it on the truck that day.

About the exhausts, if you dont have an intake in and u put in the exhaust just as i did, u will hear the engine at a higher pitch than the exhaust, thats why i would recommend getting an intake so u can get the full experience of the versa sound and performance, i should be ordering one soon as possible.

For those of you that ahve the exhaust done, how loud is it inside the car? Should I invest in some dynamat in the spare tire well to keep the noise inside the car down? I like the way it sounds but I dont want it to give any of my passengers headaches.
