I finally got around to clay barring the 02 Q and putting on it's first application of Zaino. I only had time for one coat of Z2 but it really looks good. I really hate the first application:wash the carclay barre-washpolish lokpolishbuffNow that it is finally done the car looks awesome. It will be much easier now. Thanks Zaino Brothers for such a great product!

Yeah, I spent 3 hours in 98-degree weather doing the clay bar. Followed it up with a coat of glaze (TR-3 rocks).

That clay bar KICKS BUTT!! I wish I could find Zaino in town.

I just Zaino'ed Quella as well (right after she was de-spotted).

Unbelievable results. I just threw all my half-used bottles of Mothers, Meguiars and 3M in the garbage.

I'll post a more detailed thread tomorrow. WOW!

I've used Zaino on my vette for the last couple of years. This stuff really is that much better than all the other stuff on the market. First time is a little time consuming to do it right, but then its the same, if mot easier than other waxes. Check out their website for more info. http://www.zainobros.com

I'll be spending a few hours this weekend on the new Q!!

A family member borrowed the digital so i can't take a pic right now. I used Zaino on my 02 SS and on my old 69 Z28 and the results were incredible. These rpoducts are really incredible. I just wish they were more readilly available for purchase. The guys at Zaino should really think about getting a retail outlet to sell this stuff.

Ordering from the website is really easy, and my stuff arrived in TWO DAYS.

I got to talk to the inventor/owner for about half an hour as well. What an education I got! :D

I agree that their mail order system works well. It just seems to me that most people in the general public have never heard of them. Maybe that's not such a bad thing for all of us that use the product, especially if you show your car. I won several car shows with my previous cars using the product.I tried out their leather cleaner on my wifes Lexus a little yesterday and it worked very well.

Pics don't really do this stuff justice.

My Q now looks like it has flourescent lighting INSIDE the paint (whoa - is that possible?)

Very, very nice.

BTW - I run my hand over the paint now, and it's PERFECTLY slick - Like a piece of glass. OOoooh, baby. :D

im interested in zaino. what all would i need to buy? the site was telling me i needed to buy theircar wash stuff in order to clay bar and it and some other things.

so i gathered that i need the clay bar, and i think product number3(cant remember off the top of head, but the one for clear coat paints), what else do i need?

Claybar and #5 (or #2) are all that's absolutely necessary, but the spray you use in between is a good addition.

It's worth twice what they charge, IMO.

without trying Zaino yet, and i will, i CAN tell you that the claybar is a must for that "my paint feels and looks like glass" effect. i used mothers claybar with maguirs polish and wax and the results were stunning. can only imagine what the Zaino treatment will do for the Q!! GET THE CLAYBAR!!!!! jeff

Bare minimum I think you need: clay bar, car wash, Z1 polish Lok, Z2 or Z5 polish ( both are for clearcoat but Z5 helps remove swirls ) and Z6 polish enhanser. They have a lot of other stuff. I also use their tire treatment, glass polish and now their leather products. All in all it's some really good stuff. I give it a big :thumbup
