Bought Infiniti # 5: a twilight blue/tan G35 sedan, w/ premium pkg.

I'd been planning on getting a 2005 sedan, but the wife preferred that I save the money so I got a 2003 w/ 22K miles. I love the thing- don't know how I've lived this long without one

As you can see from the photo, there's one too many infiniti in the little driveway, so the Q will be going up for sale. It's a 1994 w/ 103K. Email me if you're interested, and I'll be putting an ad in the appropriate forum in the coming days.

Nice car. Congrats. Sorry to see you sell the Q, but it's always nice to have another G owner around.

Indeed. Closest you can get to a coupe while still having four normal size doors and room for adults.

I could really be interested in your 94Q

Do you have service records?

Price?

As many of you know, my son totaled out my 94 IPQ last Saturday.

Nonsense! I have 3 Infiniti's and I think I still need a couple more.

Congrats on the new G.

Nice move.... congrats!

Q45 handles great for its size, but the G35 can run circles around the Q45.

I'm curious to see if the seat controls bother you long term..... for me they make my thigh numb, so that's a killer for me. (Not a fan of the willow cloth interior).

Speaking of dark blue, I heard there was a G50 Q that came in that color. I've never seen one before, anyone have pics?

That's the color of mine.

I'm not proud of it's non perfection status, so I am pickless.

It's a nice color.

I've seen the same color in the T model, and they look great

Yeah, I have to say I'm really liking the blue. I've always preferred darker G35s, but for the '05 I was thinking about Diamond Graphite. I saw that blue one on the lot (Infiniti of Gwinnett) and loved it. First impressions... Like I said, I'm loving it. The power is amazing- she's always ready when I am I've found the seats to be really comfortable- the controls don't bother me at all, but the longest I've been in the car at one time is probably an hour and a half. A bigger guy I work with said he could feel the controls pushing into his leg, but for me it hasn't really been an issue. Minor gripes...overall, I love the interior's layout and design, but there are definitely some cheap parts in there. I think they took the sun visors out of the Sentra parts bin. Nothing against Sentras, but I'm used to the Q The armrests on the doors are hard plastic and get really uncomfortable- that bugs me more than anything. Harder than the Q's, and much worse than the soft cushy ones in my I.The sunglass holder is worthless. My glasses don't fit in there- it's all of about an inch and a half deep. The auto-stick feature in the first-gen 03s (mine) isn't terribly practical. When you move to auto-shift, it shows 4th, whether you're in 4th or not. If you're stopped at a light- 4th. You have to shift down to put the indicator in 1st. This is something they addressed in later models. One last thing- BRAKE DUST!

A nice, well-maintained G is so much different an animal than the whored-out loaners I was used to.

On my Q... Yes Wes, I actually did order a kit (FINALLY) from Jason B last week- got it from UPS yesterday, and will be putting it on this weekend. I'm the second owner, first was a doctor that kept it dealer maintained. I bought it w/ 80K miles two years ago, and have kept it T-3 maintained since. He kept all his records, and I've kept all mine. I'm going to use the weekend to get her prepped for sale, and will take some good pics and work on a description, so stay tuned.

Well, your gripes were basically the same gripes that everyone else had about the car. For the 05 model most of those issues have been resolved. I'm not sure why the manu-matic mode in the sedan is different than the coupe, but it is. the coupe doesn't have that situation which is nice. In the coupe it is more like a clutchless 5 speed. Check out these links which details some of the changes for the 05. http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=8 ... d?id=81665

Had the same problem, you have to use the nicoclub.com domain as opposed to the old nissaninfinititclub.net domain.
