Well I finally got the chance to put the car on the dyno just before winter hit us here in Central NY.

Car put down 372whp and 302trqCar was popping right around 6100rpm due to the fact I didn't get a chance to order my bkr8's so the bkr7's were getting blown out under boost.

so your telling me 550 are good for 350whp Cause if your only running 555 for almost 400 whp that's nuts. Please clarify just in case its a typo lol . Great number and your running the samer turbo as me i love the spool characteristics .

Yup I was running 555cc's at 80% duty cycle.

The 555 are good for 440hp with good Tuner and the right fuel set up and a good FPR. You can push the injectors into 600+cc's just by fuel set up alone

Im switching over to 740's or 72lb injectors over the winter only because im going bigger turbo.

Nice man, any pics of the bay?Interested only because I'm starting to look for big turbo setups. Can't wait to finish building my block.. How are those hks step 2 264s too? I was looking at getting them.

Do you have springs, retainers, and valves too?

what octane are you running , would a aeromtive fpr be good enough its good for 1000hp , cause im trying to figure out 810cc or 550 and are those totyota injectors 2jz if so what mods did you have to do to get them to work and how much did you pay for your tune ???Cause i can have some free one from a friend .when he does his upgrade to 1080cc to run e85 .

Yeah I have the brian crower springs and retainers that enjuku sells.

The cams are an awesome upgrade and they just keep making power on the high end of the rpms. I also have a 272 exhaust cam that Im thinking about installing

I was running 93 as I always do. The only reason to get into e85 is really just for dyno numbers or full blown drag car. If its just a street car then just keep it on a pump gas tune.

I get my tunes from emance but Im also thinking about switching to nistune for the next build

Nope im just using your run of the mill side feed injectors you can buy at any 240/sr website for fuel upgrades.

As for the 2jz injectors. I dont think they will fit. Look up our injectors with supra injectors. Their injectors look to be fatter and shaped differently then injectors for our fuel rail.

People say the STI injectors fit if you can get your hands on those. They are also 550cc's

Man that intake mani is killin your tq just like it did mine when I went top mount. I honestly would never go with anything but oem intake on an SR unless I was drag racing and trying to make north of 450whp. The tq drop and area under the curve just isn't worth it IMHO. I made 345wtq with oem intake at 20psi on a GT2871R and switched to the isis and top mount 30r and made 311wtq at 18psi. I had to run 25psi with the 30r just to get my tq back to 340. IMO, i would rather have 380whp 350tq at 20psi on the 50trim then 300wtq with the isis intake. Just my opinion from trial and error and the feel my car had on the street with each intake. Also it was much easier to launch at the track with the stock intake.

Anyways, if you gapped the BKR7's down to .025 or so then they shouldn't have blown out. You may have a coil pack problem?? I gapped my BKR8's at .025 and ran as much as 28psi on 110 and never had a spark problem with oem ignition.

yeah thanks for the input. I plan on switching to a full race manifold and a gt3076 or a turbo equivalent. im shooting for 450+ whp next year and that should be the turbo to get me there. Im also going to do alittle more head work along with rods.

ive seen numerous dyno runs with the sr making crap for torque reguardless of the manifold/turbo set ups. If i wanted to increase torque im better off increase the displacement
