So conclusion, JET MAF = fail.altima5507 wrote:ok i know i actually posted this like two months ago but i finally have some time seeing that its thursday which would be the 4th day of work but thanks two the 30 hours of overtime ive had for the past 4 weeks 70 HR WORKWEEK so here are the results:
WITH the jet MAF 13.709 @ 102.97mph 13.745 @101.86mphWITH the stock MAF 13.801 @101.37mph and 13.994 @ 100.06 (shifted late and spun the tires)
so for everything its a tenth faster was it worth it idk im too tired to make a educated guess but atleast now i have money to order a bodykit carbon hood and truck and wings any suggestions
make something clean, surprise us, find a wing that works with the coupes linesaltima5507 wrote: but atleast now i have money to order carbon hood and truck and wings any suggestions

It's great when members take the time to try out products and validate the manufacturer's claims. thanks a bunch! it will help everyone who was interested in the product!altima5507 wrote:ok i know i actually posted this like two months ago but i finally have some time seeing that its thursday which would be the 4th day of work but thanks two the 30 hours of overtime ive had for the past 4 weeks 70 HR WORKWEEK so here are the results:

LOL englishtown is a downhill track j/k but it is the FASTEST track in the US! I have a few friends drive there from WI/IL with there modded GTOs in the fall to hit 10'sHussain wrote:am i the only one who sees this guys times??? i had the record for fastest coupe with a 13.912 and a guy on the other forum hit a high 13.8 with his 07+ sedan stick shift. you have the fastest time of all the coupes and sedans.... what mods do you have besides the MAF???
While I myself am no racer (neither am I informed about after-market performance enhancement options), I myself would expect at the very least a 3% increase in performance for an investment like this. I tend to think somewhat conservatively along these lines, though.QR25DE wrote:

I think the times you have are from just driving error, they're really close. Waste of money I think. We all kinda had the same idea it was going to do nothing. :/ That kinda sucks though if your out that money.
Well, you are looking along those lines. .1 seconds off your 1/4 mile time = 10 hp (roughly) or 100 lbs of weight stripped.basilikon wrote:

Thanks for doing the leg work stavros.
WOW! if you did all that plus your mods and you were on drags radials, you should have been much faster.... 07+ altima sedan stick shift had a Y-pipe, intake, and i think pulley and he got a 13.8 on street tires and a 13.4 on drag radials. coupe like 100 pounds lighter then the sedan plus you stripped everything, you should be running quicker then a 13.4, maybe a 13.3 or 13.2, not a 13.7.altima5507 wrote:and anything none escentially was stripped out seats carpet console radio doorpanels trunk and so on just so u guys know how i got those times and im also runnign toyo drag slicks on 17x 8.5 on front and toyo r888 on 17x8 in the rear and when this bad boy is on the streets it rocks 20 x 10 enkei performance ls-5 on toyo proxy 4
according to Nissan, the 3.5se stick shift (like yours) weighs 3,241 poundsaltima5507 wrote:even with all that out the car still weighs 3269 lbswhen its fully equiped my car weighs 3509 with the 20s on it so weight is a big issue with this car
