I have an appointment next week for the software update I've been waiting five months for!! Allegedly the update will allow the car to accept apps off of a smart phone. ABOUT TIME! More to follow......

Boned by a lousy service dept again!!! Even after I specifically asked 3 times if this update would allow me to add my apps and was told it would - WRONG!

The word is that they have this completed, have you finally gotten this taken care of on your Q?

Nope! I called Infiniti early last week and they still do not have a date yet.

The only apps I'm aware of is google search, facebook, email/txt, calendar. You can setup iHeart but it does not load to the screen.

I've not messed with it in a while and I've not tested with my iphone 6 yet...probably going to be frustrating

Anyone have any update/success with apps? I was thinking of updating but want to hold off until it is out of "beta"

I've used google search and facebook. Never did setup for email and such as I would simply not use it. No new software options as of my version at least.

Traded in my 07 G35 for the 15 Q50 beginning of February. Love the revamped stereo system and dual touch screen but missing a lot of features that initially sold me on the car, so a little disappointed at the lack of integration with commonly used smartphone apps.

I just picked up a new Q50 off the lot. The apps selection is pretty slim.

I have email (not set up yet).
I have calendar, driving monitor with g-forces, and a couple other ones. I don't see facebook available on my car, though it was on another demo that I drove. I'm not sure i'd use it anyway. I don't remember seeing Pandora or Iheartradio. But I can just run those on my cell phone through bluetooth easily enough.

Driving monitor only goes up to .5G which is a rip. Can't really tell what you are doing when it maxes out so low....have not found a way to increase it.

iHeart is in the garage section but you can't actually configure it yet, only the FB and GS that you see via inTouch on the phone. Pandora and others will still stream to the system.

I'm also disappointed with the voice system as well. My Garmin works great but the Infiniti system in the Q (and my old G35s with Nav) seems to not understand a damn thing I say most of the time and it does not let you interrupt it...have to wait for it to complete all instructions first.
