well guys i got my new ecu(farina) in today and hooked it up and it ran like a champ!! only problem is everytime i get on it full throttle i blow the same intercooler pipe off everytime!!( gettin t-bolt clamps and new couplers) already messed up my first 5.0! felt good! well just spreading the goodnews

Spray brake cleaner on the pipes and put the couplings on while the cleaner is on them. Alot of the GN guys do it that I know.

I'm guessing to make the couplers "tacky" once they hit the pipe.. that way they have a little stick on their own? Mmm interesting.. I hadn't ever seen anyone doing that. I'd just hold out for the tbolts :)

Yeh they basically tacky. I did it on mine because my piping kept popping off and it worked fine, but I still consider it a temporary fix.

speaking of T-bolts, where can they be had for cheap? sounds like a nice investment...
