that is a pretty baller setup man, i think you have me nearly as excited to see it finished as you are yourself haha

I take it you have never torn the thing apart to get to the internals, which is why you don't have a new headgasket? Outta curiousity, with it being in the nrrba club for so long, and you taking the time to build it thoroughly and properly, why haven't you done any more head work like cams/vavles/springs?

Oh, by the way, Skype ftw. By far and away better than AIM and I don't know anyone who's had a problem with it crashing their computer + a great video chat feature that is free

that really is a good question, but honestly just lack of money man, taking 2 1/2 years wasnt only because of me taking my time, but it was because i was so strapped for money.

im still a young'n hahaha, only 18, but doing an rb25 out my own pocket... yea...

hahah that takes a while, but if she ever blows ill hopefully be a little older with a stable job, then ill build that b****!!!!

Damn, that is a pretty gangster car to have at the age of 18. Congrats man, sounds like you did your research, and have put a lot of time, knowledge, and effort into this build. Keep it up, someday you will have those big HKS 272 cams with a fully built head/block and will be screaming down the road like a bat outta hell.

BTW, when are we gonna get more pictures?

i was gonna drop it this thing, and keep my red s13 unmollested but selling this thing and the wheels funded my motor nicely.

soooooooo, looking to finish up the swap here in the next couple days, got my driveshaft made the other day, screw paying 300 bucks for a DS shop one i got mine made for 100 bucks.... looks just the same. gonna put the walbro in today, get a z32 fuel filter, and hook all the fuel lines up, not gonna be able to crank it today though cause im still confused on a few plugs on my wiring harness and need the guy that wired it for me to come help me out. ( I suck at understanding wiring) but he should be up here monday, and im gonna do the first start up on the stock ecu, cause id rather if there be a catastrophic wiring failure and fry the ecu id rather it be the stock

but yea. should be done and tuned and ripping up the roads here in a couple weeks!!!!

Congrads. Its been a long time coming. But that Coupe was looking pretty nice. It would of done the long awaited motor swap to be dropped in the coupe.

The chassis is clean as hell...but why do the coil conversioin and turbo setup before you ever even fired the motor up?

Why not keep it simple, save that money for getting little things you might have needed to get it fired up 3 years ago, then piece together the new turbo setup? I could see the power fc and greddy manifold, because i did the same thing. Mostly because my motor didnt have an ECU and also i didnt want to re-do my intercooler to throttle piping once i tig'ed it up.

Not to bash, just trying to understand the logic....other than that its a pretty clean swap.

I've just been having a hard time understanding why people would straight off the bat swap their turbo setup before they even fired it up, adding another level of complication if you need to trouble shoot the setup. I kept mine simple and i had it installed and fired up in like 4 months of work, and thats with fully tucking the wiring harness, stich welding the engine bay, and having to machine myself a new crank snout.
