I finally got my '91 5spd hatch today, good god i'm excited. You remember when you first got your 240? well that's how i am right now. can't wait to drive that biatch to school tomorrow, gonna get there early as ****, haha i know i sound a little immature, but that's mature enough for me cause it'll be fun as poo just driving to school everyday. Well anyways what i wanted to ask is this, i got some factory alloys and i was thinkin about spraying them either really shiny black or gun-metal on the front flat part, and like on the sides of the spokes leave those silver. kinda stupid question but since i don't plan on getting any rims i gotta make these look somewhat different than the prom queen's. also, how the hell do you take the shift knob off?

Lateral....painting your stock alloys is pretty ghetto. Kinda like thinking your car gets cooler the more stickers you put on it.

that's not what i was thinking about the stickers, i just don't like silver rims that much and i don't think it would look bad cause i mean i'm not talking about spraypaint, i'm saying get a paint shop to spray actual car paint on them. i would get them powdercoated but i don't think that there is anywhere remotely close to me that can does it.

although im against them both, i would powdercoat instead of spray.its a no-brainer.congrats on the 240 though, i still remember when i first got mine, everyone was like "whoa, one of the nicest cars in school now".

and that was BEFORE the rims, ps1, sound.....:D have fun with it, it'll reward you HUGE!just dont race until you know what you're doing, trust me
