G37X's are unbelievable in snow. I was able to drive thru 30"s of it. The G is backwheel dominant, and they cut snow like butter

Isn't it funny how men love to drive in snow and I'm white knucking the whole way? I would just die if I slid into anything and hurt my baby.

My first hubby loved it. He liked to cut the wheel and hit the brake and do 360s. I would let HIM drive me to work.

1.5 inches for me. G35 wasn't too fun on the way home, sideways a little more than an wanted.

In fiance's AWD Murano today and last night. Some fun there. But hate the CVT.

I did a 180 in my G35 a couple of years ago so I am working from home today. My G35 does not do well in the snow and it scares me to drive in it which is why women are different from men. My ex loved doing wheelies in his Mazda RX7 in a snowy/icy parking lot.

We got about an inch, but it was enough!!!
The coupe's rear tires are getting thin!!! The S in DWS is gone! And, to be honest, they really didn't do that much better than the S-Drive's that I replaced.
Probably will get two more since they have gone 32K with no rotation....and the fronts are still OK.

And, CONGRATS Biggie!!!

I just replaced my OEM Bridgestone tires at 32k miles with Michelin Pilot AS3's two weeks ago.

A big difference driving on ice and hard packed snow this morning

Much better traction

Oh yeah...I'm sure the Hemi on ice would have been a bit difficult to control.

My co-worker's friend spend 16 hours stuck in Atlanta traffic and ran out of gas.....
WTH!!! I left CLT 5 hours before the first flake!!! NOT going to get stuck in traffic when I do IT stuff and can do it from home! Regardless, I would leave anyway.
Saw people complaining about getting stuck.....dumb azzes....

I see you all are below the Mason Dixon line.....was told they won't even sell the G37's in Pa, cause they are so bad in the snow.

It was because of the schools, work and government all released at the same time. At 5:15 the interstates were green, at 5:36 they were red.

As you guys know in the south, the problem was ice. The roads were warm and the snow just melted, until the sun went down and froze...and stayed frozen for a few days. I got razed by friends and family that live in NY and CONN...until I asked them if they could drive on sheets of ice.

Plus, most car people up north own a beater for winter months. Your Challenger is definatly not a beater.

Thanks.

My aunt's friend in ATL drove 2 miles in like 3 hours. Ended up leaving the car and running 15 miles home in 3hrs. Granted he runs a lot and I would be dead.

My coupe with DWS is more stable than the sedan with DWS....granted, I can't drive my coupe much in the snow for fear a truck will drop a ice clump that will rip off my nose due to how low it is. Both are OK in basic driving in snow but can get a**-happy if you are not careful.

The sedan's alternator went out the other day and stranded me. I had a G37x loaner when we got 6" of snow and took it out for some fun. Hell, even with VDC off the damn thing is a CHAMP in the snow even with the crappy all-season tires. I was quite pleased and know what my wife's next vehicle will be.

wholly crap! That is a scary pic with the truck out of control!!! Doesnt look like much on the road either.

I thought our G35X was amazing in the few snows I got to play in. One was about 6 inches and I took it to a large industrial parking lot in the back of a business park and went at it with and without the vdc on. It was awesome!!!!
Reason we went with the G37x.....AND the drop in price helped!!! And, getting it below the VVP or VPP price...whatever it is.

Looks just like Kowalski. I need to pull that movie out and watch it. I haven't seen it in forever.

Love the dinosaur. Great touch.

Mine couldn't make it up my driveway last Monday even with new Michelin AS3's and over 6 inches of snow.

We have more snow on the way

Supposed to be 10"+ tomorrow. Probably means my G won't leave the garage for 4-5 days.
