Hello all! I'm new to the group and just wanted to offer a quick intro.

My name is Jason, and I am currently driving my third Nissan. I just purchased it last Thursday, a 2013 Altima 3.5 S in Metallic Bronze. I love the 3.5 mated to the CVT. It's been a while since I had a car that would shove me back in the seat without much effort.

Previously, I had a 2006 Altima 3.5 SV -- conventional transmission, and a 2017 Sentra SR. Both were great cars for different reasons. I loved the features in the Sentra, but the Altima's performance is what brought me back to Nissan's best-selling sedan.

I've driven a lot of different vehicles over the years, from Mustangs to Wranglers and everything in between, but I always come back to my Nissans. Quality, performance, and reliability matter to me. (It helps that I sold them for 8 years too.)

Anyway, a hearty salut to those of you who also love clear interstate on ramps and letting 270+ horses run.

Altima, but yah, great color! The black and cherry red both look great on the '13~'15's too, the wife loves our black one.

I've always loved the Metallic Bronze. Fell in love with it when it first came out. Of course, I fell in love with the 3.5 back when I had my 06 Altima. It was the replacement for the 2005 Mustang I had that was a complete lemon. (It was my fourth Mustang and the only one I ever had trouble with.) That 06 Altima ran like a scalded dog compared to the v6 Mustang.

Thanks for the warm welcome, gents. I'm looking forward to getting to know both you and your cars!

Sorry I thought it was a Maxima at first. Hence the "290 hp" remark.
Either way I expect your car really scoots.

Its not so long ago that 270 hp in a Sedan was the purview of BMW M sedans only.

Have y'all seen the new "Scarlet Ember Tintcoat" on the '21's yet? I'm in love, this color does the coolest stuff in bright sun or street lights.
