Because I lag.

I mean hardcore lagging.

Things i did wrong:Got the "standar main set from the dealer"Ordered a new crank belt gear way too late.Re-used the stock rings. On the cheap.

Things I did:New stem seals.Cleaned everything in just parts cleaner/scotch brite pads.Measure, then measured again, then one more time.

But Sure enough I finally got the right sized mains in (grading system works perfect), and rod bearings were easy and cheap (acl's for like $14). Crank is in, 1st piston is in. Tomorrow morning back to the shop, put the other three in, torque them down, and install the head/accessories and hopefully by sunday have it pulling an idle back in the chassis.

+ More junk I cant think of.

I am taking the 10mgpx to the shop tomorrow, so I will post pics then. I think I am just happy its going back together, and really, it took another forum member to kick my *** in gear.

(My paypal to send me the $50 is [email protected]).

Oh, sunday funday update.

Didn't have the 10mgpx b/c my brother took it to arizona road trip.

Didn't finish the assembly b/c the dealer gave me a cam seal instead of a front main seal, so autoparts store will have one for me tomorrow.

Head/cams/crank/pistons are all together, and tq'd.

Accesories tomorrow.

Concerning the S12 bellhousing. I used the last series possible (88). From what I found in my S12 hayday (yeah, i've been around for a min), the gear set, and rear half of the trans is shorter, NOT the front, so when the whole ca + trans was in the car before, I didnt really notice a difference.

It will make it in there this week, so I will take pics of the position.

I DID have to route allot of material out of the inside of the bellhousing for it to clear the sr flywheel though, keep that in mind.

Ok, so I crapped my own thread out by not posting pics.

Engine is done and in, starting and idling.

Injector problems all over, first wiring now maybe my gti-r injectors aren't flowing right? Plugs on 1 and 2 have plenty of burn, 3 and 4 are clean. 4 is working, but 3 I get no change.

Been through the WHOLE harness, and sparks, now testing the actual injectors themselves.

Just too much fun.

I'll get a pic of the shifter deal in a min.
