So, here it is. Pictures of that "beautiful" car. I wish i could dig up some more "before" pictures, of the rust, home made and rigged up junk etc.. but anyway here are some old and recent pics of the car. I will post more as i receive them from the photographer, interior, rear and side pics etc. Enjoy...

I am open to constructive criticism, and I will go ahead and tell you there are some imperfections (the hood is slightly raised on one side due to an intercooler pipe that has yet to be cut, and the bumper cover is a little funny looking due to my father's failed attempt at better supporting the bumper cover...)

BTW, don't worry about the blue brackets in the engine bay, they are going bye bye as soon as I get a minute to address them. While building this car these were at the bottom of the list...

looks good.

That used to be my favorite vert of all times...Who's was it? I can't think of his name, I know he had to sell it because of military duty.

Thanks bunches for the comments keep them coming!! I wasn't crazy about those Motegi Wheels, they were pretty banged up and the offset was horrible. The previous owner's name is Chris he had to sell because it was using up his parents garage and had lots of broken parts so is could not be driven.

What do you guys think of the flat white? I have gotten many mixed opinions about it, most say "leave it! it is hottness" I just don't know. I love it and hate it (because it is so hard to clean)

That was Shift_Oversteer.

zerothread?id=184674

He did a pretty ghetto job of building that whole thing. Then wasn't so straight forward on his representation of the condition. Josh found out the hard way on that deal.

Josh and I swapped some parts, so a little of the blue vert lives on in my car (repainted black now) and a little of my car lives in his (painted white now).

I feel like our cars are siblings.

Man... we need bigger pictures!

That car looks super clean now. Just needs a GTR grill or something. That makes me want to keep my Sil40 naked (aka, no aero).

Flat white? It looks awesome, but that's gotta be a real ***** to keep clean.

It does have a GT-r grille, it's just flat black and kinda blends into the darkness in the pictures. Yeah, I'm not crazy about body kits, which is why I let mine go to Seth for a K's bumper cover and a little boot... Not that they all look bad, I'm just a "naked" kinda guy

I originally paid $6k for the car....I know but after driving 9 hours to Detroit and literally cleaning this kid's garage out, it made it all seem more worth it...and now, it was definitely worth it...

I should be receiving the interior pics tonight and will post them as soon as i do get them. I can't wait to show Seth, and the rest of you guys what I have done with the gauges and stuff Also, I will get some of that false floor....maybe it will be some inspiration to some of my vert brothers. If you guys would like, I could post a tut. on how I made mine if you all like it.

6k really is not all that bad, you have to keep in mind that there are some guys that will pay 5-7k for a clean vert that is stock.

its all in the buyers discretion. Nonetheless, I can't wait to see the interior shots!

Yeah, I have noticed some nice ones going for pretty good amounts of money....but this car was far from clean. I have a few people interested, actually. I haven't tried to sell it or anything, just people seeing it and making inquiries. But, I can't say that it hasn't crossed my mind to let her go....

There's no excuse to have a misaligned hood when the hood & fenders are oem .

The flat white looks clean in the pics - if it looks like that in real life, neato completo.

The blue windshield frame makes zero sense now that the car isn't blue, imho.

Just me, but I liked it better w/ the body kit.

The windshield frame is BLACK!! no, f'ing way would I have a blue windshield frame. And I think an intercooler pipe hitting the hood is a good excuse for misalignment since fmic is not stock.

rofl, it's black? you need to take different angle pictures or rephotoshop, haha - from the ones where u see the windshield, there is always a blue tint somewhere.

intercooler piping hitting the hood, tsk tsk tsk - align it! :P

I said the pipe has yet to be cut. The frame looks black to me in the pics , and to dexter who also said "I thought it was black..." anyway, here are some interior pics... The carbon fiber gauge din and panel where the radio once was were custom made by me, and yes....it is real
