Nice car, but what's the history on this car? I mean what did you have done to it or did you just purchase it?

It's nice of you to let your passenger watch your pillar gauges.

The gauges were already in there when I purchased it. I plan on moving them plus you can't even see them in the daylight because they change colors.. they are no namer ebay gauges. My husband knows most the mods. I know we put a different manifold on it.. can't remember the brand.. and a t28 turbo. It looks nice from the outside but the engine needs some serious tlc. Which thankfully my husband knows about and i'm learning! We think the car was originally a dark blue which i would have liked. Right now we are just trying to get it to pass inspection over here in Germany. We picked up our Volk racing wheels before we even got the car since my husband has a s13 in the states they would fit anyway. We were looking at getting new barrels for the back wheels, for a larger lip, but it would cost us about $800 to do so. And that doesn't include shipping to an APO address. So we see it as a future investment.

Good luck. I hear those Deutschland inspections are seriously anal about any modifications.

if you are doing it through the actual German TUV then yes, you have to have everything approved through them before you can even modify the car. I tried selling some wheels to a German guy and he couldn't get approved for them and it was costly to get approved. However we're stationed over here so we go through the base inspections. Which aren't bad about modifications but they call a lot of things. I don't know how many bushings we've changed in vehicles over here. My husband brought over his 1995 s14 and we had to buy coilovers so we could raise it to pass and lower it afterward for aesthetic purposes.
