Sad, isn't it? Some states require front plates, so the dealers have to drill the bumper (it comes clean from the factory) and install license plate holders. Where I live (California) is one of these states.jasbuzz wrote:are you gonna do something about those tag holders in the front????
The car is designed to not have a front plate at all ... cleaner to do this than have a place under the bumper. But when it ends in a state that requires front plates, the Dealer drills the holes for mounting the plate holder.vzuptnguyen wrote:do all the M's have the whole if you take out the plate frame. i would have thought a car this luxury would have mounting under the bumper.
Or the owner had alignment issues and chewed the tires up? Had a flat and wanted a matching set?Motorsport Nut wrote:Also strange that with just 16,000 miles that it does not wear the original factory Michelins? Maybe they dry rotted?
i hope to find this same color scheme as well. you almost get the dark luxury color and the wet shine as black, yet at the same time, dont have to worry about swirls as much.lswaidz wrote:I have the same color combo... diamond graphite with black leather and the light wood... I got mine with 27k and the shifter was the same color... I just assumed it was supposed to be that way...
