Had to drive almost 300 miles to get it via a Auto Trader search but it was worth the drive !

It rides great, has awesome power, and more electronic do-dads things I can remember. And with only 16,000 miles it still smells new.

Now I just need to get it in and have the transmission re-flashed or see if it needs the TPS replaced like I have read on here for a laggy transmission. I am going to try and go to the track with it this week and see if it will run a mid 14 like it is supposed to.

If there are any little tricks or things to do / check on these cars please let me know.

Sad, isn't it? Some states require front plates, so the dealers have to drill the bumper (it comes clean from the factory) and install license plate holders. Where I live (California) is one of these states.

A year ago, someone backed into me and knocked the license off. I put it in my trunk ... hoping that the cops will not harass me too much about it. But the darn holes are still there ... no way to fix them cleanly that I can tell!

do all the M's have the whole if you take out the plate frame. i would have thought a car this luxury would have mounting under the bumper.

Wow with that low mileage the wood shift knob is already faded, lol

The car is designed to not have a front plate at all ... cleaner to do this than have a place under the bumper. But when it ends in a state that requires front plates, the Dealer drills the holes for mounting the plate holder.

Oh, well ...

I have the same color combo... diamond graphite with black leather and the light wood... I got mine with 27k and the shifter was the same color... I just assumed it was supposed to be that way...

Nope, it just turns out that way after some time, probably from sweat on your hands.

Also strange that with just 16,000 miles that it does not wear the original factory Michelins? Maybe they dry rotted?

Or the owner had alignment issues and chewed the tires up? Had a flat and wanted a matching set?

So has anyone sourced a black leather knob replacement yet? it would be fantastic if there was a perforated black leather knob compatible.

i hope to find this same color scheme as well. you almost get the dark luxury color and the wet shine as black, yet at the same time, dont have to worry about swirls as much.
