well, bought the car out of WA State a few months back, with minor front end damage from a theft recovery. Car was red in colour, with cloth seats. Front left headlight and hood and bumper damage. Otherwise, bone stock with 143,000 miles.

Pulled the front end apart, and replaced both fenders with OEM Nissan metal, had bumper repaired, and front headlight assemblies rebuilt with components from newer assemblies.

While the car was in the bodyshop, we decided to clean up the underside and start our standard re&re of suspension.

Rear suspension, subframe, all removed, and all hubs, subframe, control arms...essentially everything cleaned, bead blasted, and Por 15'd in gloss and chassis black

Rear suspension cleaned, stripped, Por15'd, and Energy Suspension poly bushings installed

300ZX aluminum non turbo calipers stripped, and powder coated, all new hardware, Powerslot 26mm slotted front rotors, Hawk HP+ 300ZX pads, PDM conversion lines

Rear control arms stripped, bead blasted, Por 15'd, and ready for ES bushings

pressing the ball joints back into the control arms

Underbody was absolutely spotless...the cleanest 240SX we have ever had in our shop out of hundreds and hundreds of S13's and S14's.

Just cleaned it up a bit more and painted

Subframe was removed, old bushings pressed out, stripped and Por15'd with chassis black, and new Nismo bushings pressed in. All new hardware in back, including new eccentrics, washers and bolts.

Battle Version upper adjustable control arms, stock traction link and toe link arms with ES bushings, OEM Nissan S14 rear hubs and new bearings, Powerslot rear rotors with new Nissan rear calipers, Hawk HP+ pads, found really strong VLSD and cleaned up and installed. New rear output shafts, cleaned and Por15'd.

Freshly rebuilt Zeal B6 coil overs (rebuilt at Endless USA) with softer springs, Whiteline front and rear adjustable swaybars, front Circuit Sports 5 bolt hubs and bearings, PDM conversion front 300ZX lines, and PDM stainless 240SX lines

Painted GM Super black (PDM trademark colour), PDM sideskirts, new OEM front splitter, Bings rear spats. Since car was red, had to remove all doors, trunk, hood, fenders, bumpers and paint inside and out black (more labour at the bodyshop)

Volk Racing GT7, 18 x 7.5 front, 18 x 9 rear, with Kumho MX 225/40/18 and 235/40/18 rears

Wanted to keep the car's exhaust note sane...as too many of our race and street cars have a lot of resonance from the large stroke KA's or buzzy turbo'd SR's.. - so I figured that since it's a vert - don't want anything annoying loud. So found the super quiet 5 Zigen exhaust. For now, put on Ebay clear tails.

Stock motor for now, will put a Ceramic DC Sports header, with high flow cat, PDM ECU and cams in it for now and dyno it on the DynaPak, and mainly keep it as a summer cruiser. Have a carbon hood on it for now (Thanx Paul), but may change to a metal hood if I find decent one. S14 leather front seats.

Have Mike at Clearcorners doing a custom one-off rear coupe LED tails, LED front and rear markers, LED front turn signals, LED daytime running lights, and possible a one-off HID custom front headlight kit. Also rear window needs to be replaced (sliced but Frankenstein sewn for now) and of course a decent sound system to go in.

Don't know if I'll turbo the KA, or swap an SR in it... - but I may keep it N/A for now..keep the autotragic in it (sure nice in rush hour stop and go traffic) and wifey will be driving this..... My problem is I always build cars too much that wife can't drive my cars, or I don't want her driving them

I've always liked your PDM hatch. This one looks amazing too. Especially, I like Canadian dimple side skirts and 5zigen border III. You also have some other goodies too. Chuki lip and rear valences...

Very, very nice. Props for a job well done on the vert. Looks great sitting on Volks. Remove the front plate holder (if it's not needed) and you'll be set.

Once again, great job.

Dear PDM, please start making some bracing for the vert. Specifically ladder braces, other underbraces, and fender braces that actually fit. Pretty please .

Oh, and awsome car btw.

I am really thinking about getting a pair of side skirts and rear lip for my hatch .. i was wondering if you could take a pic of the door jam with the door open so i can see what the seam looks like where the side skirts butt up to the metal on the rocker. thanks i really really appreciate it!
