Well after a few weeks of planning and ordering parts finally got the car up on jackstands and pulled apart. Had to replace a transmission at the same time as well due to 3rd and 4th gear grinding. Decided the Q-Trim T66 was just a bit to laggy. We decided to move to something a little more sorted for daily drivability and a little more fun on the street. So we went with a custom 60-1 from Supernatural Turbo which is a 60mm compressor wheel matched with a P-Trim turbine wheel in a GT35 compressor cover. I must say very pleased with its performance. Since we made this change had to build a new downpipe and intercooler piping and while we were in there decided to come up with something nice for a power steering resevoir since the stock one was a little broken. All in all i think it turned out nice. Now on to pics.

Sorry for the camera phone pics but thats all i had.. Will try and work out some better ones here shortly..

Yeah kinda like something out of a sci fi movie.. The guys over there do a great job. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Yeah the fab work turned out really nice. Not bad for 16 hours worth of work..

Instead of starting some lengthy build thread i figured it was time to just add to this. Shortly after said upgrade above we lost oil pressure and the motor. So its been sitting for quite a few months waiting for us to decide what to do. Well the plan is finally in place and things are slowly coming along. Dropped the car off saturday and started getting to work on it. The paint wasn't that great to begin with so we figured it was time for some changes.

On to the pics:

Got to work quick on paint while pulling the motor.

Showed up sunday and this is what it looked like

Finished pulling the engine and brought it back home for tear down and clean up. Then on to a build.

I'll keep this updated a little bit here and there as we start making some more progress. Got tons of parts ordered and in route.. Now its just hurry up and wait time!!!

No it was purchased from an individual in Atlanta. However the car has been in NC and thats where we are from. The other turbo that was on this car may still be around here somewhere. I'll have to look.. You are welcome to PM me if you are that interested.

I got your PM but i don't think you have the settings correct in your account to receive from other members.

Updates will be coming soon. Got a huge week ahead of tearing down the engine and seeing what the major issue was. Then bolt on all the aftermarket goodies!!!!

Actually not sure which brand it is.. It will be tossed into the pile of not using stuff here shortly!! Along with a few other things..

Valve cover color choice will change and be paint matched to the car along with the wheels....

looks like some grade A work man. but one question. i assume that is meth injection. why is it before the intercooler? you pretty make the IC useless by cooling the charge before it enters the IC. typically you want to let the IC do it's job then cool it even more with the meth/water injection

2 more weeks and everything should be finished with the paint guy. He's also installing new quarter glass and having them retinted. But soon enough i guess..
