FINALLY! MY 240sx BUILD! *CHECK IT OUT*

got this car a few months ago and finally got around to getting it together. the guy i got it from was trying to do the sohc to dohc swap and he didn't really know what he was doing, so it had a bunch of random problems. all liquid gasket on the motor, the guy tried to remove the egr stuff and removed a bunch if stuff that is needed. missing tons of bolts, old ****ty clutch.... etc. anyways he never got it finished so i picked it up and am finishing it the right way.



hopefully i can get it all together within a couple of weeks... im sick of driving a cavalier! let me know what ya think

Great start up! looks like something I am doing except mine is a 93 (already had a dohc.)

I unfortunately sold my 70k mile motor thinking I would get an rb20 but ended up rethinking it and buying another ka block.

I too am repainting the block, along with the intake manifold, etc then boosting it as well.

For now, I just want to make sure the block runs, the transmission doesnt grind, and compression test before boosting. Im in the process of getting most of the stock parts to get the car started, then going to take her back out for the boost (if I dont need to rebuild it).
