2000 miles in 5 days! Morehead City, NC to Dayton, OH to Anderson, IN to Muncie, IN back to Dayton, OH back to Anderson, IN back to Dayton, OH to Kings Island amusement park, to the IN state line (Nieces dance recital) back to Dayton and finally today the Odyssey ends with the return home to the NC Beach! Talking about time on the road.. My AC compressor is dead and scwealed for a while before it just went freewheel frying everything inside to compressor.

The trip was great and I got to see allot of people including family and long lost friends. The Q made it through it all with an average speed of 82 Mph for almost all those 2000 miles with only the compressor, which didn't work anyway, giving me a slight scare. The unbalanced feeling the car had between 60 and 70 mph is now gone and I attribute that to the new rims and tires wearing themselves smooth (don't ask). I've got just about all my AC parts gathered together, so I can now get my new Calsonic in and feel AC for the first time in a long time.

I want all who saw my Q in Anderson to take note so that when you see it again you'll notice the difference and the effort to make it pristine!! I have to say that Evan's Q is a certain looker and well maintained (I didn't really notice that vibration you were speaking of) and Jesda's Q just needs the wheels washed

Keith, I wish I could have stayed long enough to drive in your Q and feel that 4:08 with those custom headers. Maybe next time.

Wes, way to go! Hope you enjoyed us bothering you for a couple of days. The vice grips help that "sleeper" look, even if people can't really see 'em.

Nice to meet Andy and James and the rest of the NICO crew that showed up. Seemed like everyone got along just fine.

You guys should have stayed longer! Good times, good beer, good food.

My wheels actually look pretty decent after going to a car wash. :D

LOL, when you were there, you could see my house and where I work if you went up in the tower.

I let Wes take Da Beast for a spin, so maybe he can comment on the 4.08 and headers. Maybe next time I'll be in your neck if the woods ... ohhhh how I long for another week on the Outer Banks .

Didn't go up on the tower, but did go up on The Drop Zone ride. All the way to the top spin around then it drops you straight down, so I saw all around the area. Ate Pizza in Lebanon on the way home.

Just a side note. The roller coasters there just beat you to death!! The record holder "Son of the Beast" just rips you apart in the rear seats!! I'd leave one roller coaster with a kink in the neck, sore shoulder and aching back, get on another and it would beat me straight again! Plus we had three rides where the chunks were a blowing if you know what I mean.....

I Forgot to mention the early model Nissan Sentra on fire on the side of the road on 40 in Raleigh. Somebody must of been just a little upset over their burning car..

I miss my nephew and niece already.. probably reading this.
