yea you can get a 2 inch drop with springs. you need to go about 2 inches more. and thats STILL not slammed. the quality of your ride isnt gonna change just your ground clearance of which you have like 3 feet of, so youll be fine.apollo500 wrote:1) well i would call 2-2.5 inch drop being lowered... didnt say i slammed it2) Front are 17x8 and back are 18x9, there are no 18x8 bullit wheels so i had to do this set up with my stock suspension. overall the rim+tire height is same front and back
why do people always assume those who criticize are jealous?ScrapMetal wrote:Wow, some people here are just jealous. Great looking car bro, and the Bullitt wheels look sick on the S14.
I didn't know there's a worldwide contest on how stupidly low you could go.Joe wrote:
its not jealousy that we want him to realize the potential of his car/suspension.
LOL at this guy. I drive a slammed car every day and have no problems.W O T wrote:Car looks hot bro good job, lotta haters in here, ever been on real roads before? THEY TEAR YOUR CAR UP PEOPLE, you dont need to hear scrapes to be low
i really hate that look. reduce gap, yes, but tucking tire/wheel and scraping everywhere is the stupidest thing i've ever seen.W O T wrote:Not everybody wants to be tucking tires douchebag
you are completely missing the pointRagingPanda wrote:

1) This rim+tire combo cost me all of $300 with brand new tires, so for that amount it looks great even though the tires are of different height.2) I would slam it if I wanted to replace my front lip every 2 weeks and rip off my oil pan going on Chicago streets during peek road construction season.3) I didn't get coilovers just to lower my car, i got them for adjustability since i will race this car in the future.Joe wrote:

he is obviously doing this for asthetics not performance. so to make it look better going down another 1-2 inches will remove the unsightly wheel gap. also changing his tire profiles to something that actually fits the wheel/car.
nobody said he should be dragging bumper.
yea all im gonna say is you should spend the money on practice events, not pointless mods that arent going to help you as a new driver.apollo500 wrote:

Gee thanks! Guess what? I used to live in Chicago too.CSLAVE wrote:Wow some people are f*****s. " i drive a slammed car every day and have no problems". Congrats!
Dude lives in Chicago where winters destroy the roads, maybe that is as low as he can go.
Beside the f*****ry in this thread nice car. The wheels are a different look but they look good.
