I finally got my sr20 running last night at about 10:30. Got it on the first crank! I finally fixed the problem with the throwout bearing and put everything back together. It only took me 8 months, but I really only worked onit for about 15 or twenty days the whole time. My kids and my wife's boat have taken up more tim.
I now have to adjust the timimg and bleed the cooling system and brakes before I drive it. Thanks to Jeff at Heavy Throttle for all of the help. I am sure he'll be glad to have me not calling him so much with my little problems.chad

I took it for a drive a few days ago. I had to bleed the brakes. The rear fluid came out like brown toothpaste. Overall, I was underwhelmed. I'm taking it easy for now. . . new clutch and everything.
I guess the reality is I have more work to do on the car: the suspension is shot. I need new TC bushings, shocks, struts and springs, new exhaust and wheels. I only spent 350 for the chassis, so it's still pretty good but I forgot what blown shocks ride like. Oh yeah! 7 psi sucks!! I need more boost, so I need a boost controller. I am looking at another $2000 before the car is really done and that's not including A/C or stereo.
