so i've been here for a while but never really introduced myself. so here it is. i drive a '90 240 hatch. bought it for like $50 as a bone stripped shell and have put it together from bits and pieces. but its been running for a couple months now. i formerly drove an '89 hatch and posted on ka-t forums an k-town-ka-t. blew it up. swapped in another ka, sold it to my brother, now swapped in an rb20det. ive done a few sr swaps and far too many ka swaps. i know my way around a 240 i guess you could say. lol. but ya, my current hatch is an daily d and drift car. i may post up a build thread when i start buying new parts again.

thanks everyone. we don't have any drift events here in Knoxville but TN drift hosts some events in Nashville at the Nashville Super Speedway. drift around here is sliding around back roads, mountain roads, or pissing off the guys at SCCA events sliding around the cones. lol. hopefully we can get some sanctioned drifting events over here soon.

okayyyyy so i havent been on here in a week or so. got a job and ive been working every day some pretty crazy hours so all i really do anymore is work and sleep. lol. but i guess im turning this into the build thread. i did get a few things done tho.

first things first, Odyssey pc680 dry cell racing battery. i love this thing and picked it up on the cheap.
Image

also made some fiberglass canards. just like my APR carbon ones i had but not broken (damn that black ice).
Image

and last but not least, figured i'd throw in a pic of how it sits right now. someone put some things in one of my front tires (thanks to whoever did that) and the other dropped a sidewall. it needs bath, it needs paint, it needs a new front end......it needs a lot... but oh well. this should move pretty quick now that im employed again. so watch for updates.

Okay so i still haven't got much done. i cant believe how busy I've been. its crazy. but i did get my exhaust done today. HKS HiPower for the win. sounds amazing and has no leaks now. And just to clear up the old question of "will an s14 exhaust fit on an s13?". yes, yes it will, but no, it Isn't exactly easy unless you have a pipe bender and a good mig welder.it comes up being about 4" too far off but you can bridge it. I also was able to clear up some rough idle and whatnot. NEVER buy autolite spark plugs and definitely don't assume they're pre-gapped, because they aren't. lol. And on a smaller note, i bottomed my front cover hard coming out of my driveway and broke it off. that wasn't a good day. so now i roll no front. oh well.

oh trust me, i got it for the crazy cheap. HUGE thanks to srraptor for the hook up on that one. ill post some pics before i head into work tomorrow. basically it runs the same as the s13 HiPower but only 1 hanger sits exactly where it should. and the flange that bolts to the cat/ test pipe is about 4" too far in towards the driveshaft. its seriously not that hard or as much of a fabrication problem as people say it is. mine had to be welded anyways because i dont have a flange on the end of my exhaust manifold.
